PlaneWave Delta-T – Internal Mirror Dew Control System

All PlaneWave CDK telescopes now offer the option of integrated Delta-T dew control, a smart thermal management system for your optics. Designed to combat dew and moisture accumulation, Delta-T ensures optimal observing and imaging performance by keeping your mirrors at the perfect temperature—automatically.

With Delta-T, you can:

- Fully control primary and secondary mirror heaters through PlaneWave Interface (PWI4) software
- Monitor real-time temperatures of the primary mirror, secondary mirror, and ambient air
- Automatically maintain user-defined mirror temperature set points as ambient conditions fluctuate
- View live graphical data of all thermal sensors within the system

CDK telescopes from 12.5" to 24", as well as the CDK700 and PW1000, come pre-installed with primary and secondary mirror heating pads. The CDK700 and PW1000 also include tertiary mirror heating, making them fully Delta-T ready. Just connect the controller and go.
