Project Scope

In 2024, the Georgia College Observatory was experiencing maintenance issues with their Ash Dome. Our Team conducted a full cleaning of the exterior of the dome to remove mold that had developed over the years in the humid environment. The team conducted dome maintenance and a leak-down test to ensure any potential leaks were addressed. All mechanical components of the Ash Dome were serviced and ran through a testing procedure to ensure the dome will perform for their astronomy programs.
