PlaneWave 0.66x Focal Reducer for CDK Telescopes

Designed specifically for flat-field astrographs like the PlaneWave CDK series, this 0.66x focal reducer decreases the f/ratio of compatible CDK telescopes—significantly shortening exposure times and expanding the field of view. Ideal for wide-field astrophotography, the reducer delivers a 30mm fully illuminated image circle, ensuring sharp performance across large sensor formats.

Performance Transformations
When installed, the reducer modifies your CDK telescope as follows:

- CDK12.5 (f/8) → f/5.3, 47mm back focus
- CDK14 (f/7.2) → f/4.8, 44mm back focus
- CDK17 (f/6.8) → f/4.5, 47mm back focus
- CDK20 (f/6.8) → f/4.5, 47mm back focus
- CDK24 (f/6.5) → f/4.3, 47mm back focus

Compatibility Notes
- This reducer is compatible with CDK17 models that have an 8.81″ back focus using Adapter #125166
- CDK17 models with 10.24″ back focus will require Adapter #200166
