PlaneWave EFA Kit – Electronic Focuser & Accessory Control System

The PlaneWave Electronic Focuser Accessory (EFA) Kit is designed to automate critical telescope functions, enhancing performance, consistency, and thermal stability during imaging sessions. Compatible with the Hedrick Focuser and IRF90 rotating focuser, the EFA system also provides vital environmental control of your CDK, IRDK, or RC telescope.

Key Specifications

Compatibility:

- 125901-Kit: For all 12.5″ OTAs (CDK / IRDK)

- 240901-Kit: For 14–24″ OTAs (CDK / IRDK / RC) and CDK700 systems

Functionality:

- Automates focusing on optional Hedrick or IRF90 focusers

- Monitors temperature of primary mirror and OTA backplate

- Controls internal fans in CDK telescopes

- Integrates with PWI Software for remote automation and control
