Baader Advanced Slit Domes – 3.2 to 8.5 Meter Observatory Enclosures
Baader’s Advanced Slit Domes are engineered for professional observatories, research institutions, and serious remote-operated astronomy setups. Built from durable fiberglass-reinforced polyester (FRP), these domes are designed to withstand extreme weather conditions while supporting fully robotic operation. Each dome features a broad up-and-over shutter design for optimal sky access and is integrated with motorized systems for rotation and slit control.

Available in sizes ranging from 3.2 to 8.5 meters in diameter, Baader domes offer a trusted solution for both public outreach facilities and research-grade installations.
